About
Biography
Holding a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington School of Architecture and following a career in interior design, Robert transfers fundamental design principles to the world of hair. These principles give him a keen eye for communicating and assessing details, bone structure, and head shape to maximize a guest’s inherent beauty potential.
“I am truly thankful for all my guests. I describe my job as doing ‘arts and crafts’ all day long. My guests truly become friends that I look forward to seeing. I always strive to give my technical best, but it seems soon after that doing hair becomes secondary to visiting with them and sharing life together. I’m thankful for the privilege afforded me by my Heavenly Father to ‘make’ my guest’s day every day, all day long! It’s a wonderful feeling and very fulfilling to be a ‘daymaker.’

Education
Robert’s passion for excellence afforded him training from the best hair institutes the world offers – including Vidal Sassoon, California; Martin Parsons, Toronto; Llongueras International Institute, Barcelona; and The Academy at Jamison Shaw, Atlanta.
Recently, he underwent rigorous training to become a Certified Head Shape Matters Haircutter. HSM is a Patented Hair Cutting System utilizing geometry, physics, and mathematical formulation to achieve calculated, customized, consistent cuts – short or long. He also, most recently, has become a SunlightsBalayage specialist.

Robert understands the benefit in reducing exposure to harmful chemicals linked to health issues and allergies, and proudly offers his guests Natulique. From Denmark, Natulique is a non-toxic, certified organic and natural ingredient color line that delivers excellent gray coverage and shine.
Creating multi-dimensional colors – reds and browns, and creating blondes with an organic placement of lights are Robert’s preferred favorites.
